The longest day at Besançon...

It has been a busy day today. Having a day off from the conductors competition, neither our musicians nor our chief conductor spent their time strolling down the picturesque streets of sunny Besançon. Instead, most of them rehearsed and worked on their upcoming projects.

Chief-conductor Michel Tabachnik gave a stunning conference at the festival's magic mirror tent in the afternoon and rehearsed all morning with our orchestra for tonight's concert.

Both the conference & the concert were a major success! Standing ovations for both our maestro & his orchestra, soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci and Konzertmeister Henry Raudales.

Again, they won't have a lot of time to recover: Tomorrow, the three remaining candidates for the young conductor's competition will be rehearsing for the final round all day with the orchestra. Gergely, Stamatia & Yuki are highly excited about it already, and Maestro Tabachnik wil join the jury once more... courage to everybody involved!
